If you want to improve your appearance and look younger, schedule a smile makeover consultation with us. We will of you will review before-and-after photos of patients with similar problems, and you can pinpoint the features you'd like in your smile. After a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, and occlusion (how upper and lower teeth fit together), we will design a custom smile makeover plan to meet – and hopefully exceed – your expectations. 

 We have a consultation with you and listen to exactly what you are wanting in your new smile and any concerns you may have.  You will have X-rays taken along with an examination by Dr. Lowe to make sure your mouth fits the criteria for a Cosmetic Smile Design.   We use a top of the line cosmetic dental lab to fabricate a model you help design to show you what your new smile could look like. 

Next,  Dr. Lowe will then place the temporary restorations on your teeth.  You will then have 3 days to decide if you love the look of the temporaries enough to go forward with the final process or you can make changes and create a totally new smile if you so choose.  The reason we do this is so our patients get exactly what they are wanting and expecting, “The Perfect Smile.”

Lastly, Dr. Lowe removes your temporaries and  places your final restorations for you to see.  If you love the final look, Dr. Lowe will then permanently place your restorations.   

Dr. Lowe will create a custom design for your porcelain veneers. Then, in our dental lab, a talented ceramist will sculpt the restorations by hand, using layers of fine dental porcelain to reflect light like natural tooth enamel. The painstaking design and detail that go into porcelain veneers ensures that they will blend seamlessly with surrounding teeth - and they'll improve your overall appearance. The color, shape, and size of your restored teeth will harmonize with your facial features and skin tone. In as few as two visits, veneers can give you a new, improved smile and a reflection you'll love.

Dr. Lowe prescribes Discus Dental DayWhite and NiteWhite to dramatically brighten smiles. These safe, yet potent teeth-whitening systems come with custom-made mouth trays that seal out saliva for more effective results. Your trays are reusable, and we stock refills of the bleaching solution in our Indianapolis office. In the comfort and privacy of your home, your smile will shed stains and take on a sensational sparkle in 7 to 14 days.

Tooth-colored composite resin fillings are the restoration of choice for health conscious, image conscious adults. You've probably heard about amalgam fillings containing mercury, a hazardous heavy metal that can cause negative reactions in some people. Why would a dentist place a known toxin in your mouth? Dr. Lowe won't. In fact, he stays away from metal altogether. Instead, Dr. Lowe relies on a safe, durable, tooth-colored plastic mixture – composite resin - that contains tiny reflective particles.

The integrity of your teeth depends upon their health, strength, function, and appearance. A significant cavity or crack will compromise a tooth and lead to more significant problems if not treated promptly. In the past, metal and porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns restored health, but compromised beauty. As a cosmetic and restorative dentist, Dr. Lowe prefers to place all-porcelain, white crowns when possible.

All crowns require two visits to our office. At the first visit, Dr. Lowe will prepare your teeth and take an impression. He'll work with our trusted dental lab technicians to create your lifelike, durable crown while you wear a temporary restoration. In your second visit, Dr. Lowe will remove the temporary and secure the permanent crown in place.
